Children's Museum - New Orleans, LA

The Louisiana Children’s Museum reimagines the traditional children’s museum by seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor learning experiences.

The façade’s carefully curated Swisspearl Largo color palette subtly nods to the classic limestone exteriors of nearby public buildings while serving as a dynamic canvas for the shifting light over the adjacent lagoon. The light-toned panels not only enhance the interplay of natural elements but also act as a projection surface for the ever-changing shadows from the building’s louvers and the rippling reflections of the water.

A mix of smooth panels and those featuring a delicate pixelated pattern adds depth and movement, creating a playful, ever-evolving visual rhythm along the museum’s elongated elevations.
