Terra5: Harvard Ceramics Studio and Gallery

As part of the University’s Allston expansion, Galante Architecture was commissioned to design the new Harvard Ceramics Studio and Gallery, located in the heart of Barry’s Corner due to its prominence along the Western Avenue thoroughfare.  Expansive glazing and a new addition facing the street create an open, inviting studio and gallery space that allow ease of visual and physical access for passersby, while a combination ofTerra5 TC18 terracotta rainscreen and cor-ten steel panels make the building’s façade reflect the craft that occurs within.

Using multiple colors, Galante Architecture is turning heads with this new building in Allston, Massachusetts.
