System5 Rainscreen Solution for Razorback Campus

In case your travels happen to take you through Northwest Arkansas, the University of Arkansas opened its new Garland Avenue Bookstore and Parking Garage, complete with a System5 rainscreen and terracotta sunscreen solution engineered by Cladding Corp.  Here are some recent photos of the final installation.

Designed by HLKB Architecture and assisted by AFHJ Architects of Fayetteville, the new Garland Center is a dramatic and unforgettable example of the versatility of our System5 approach to rainscreen wall design and the seamless integration of multiple cladding and sunscreen products within one building structure.

Considered to be one of the most expansive rainscreen and sunscreen projects in the Fayetteville area to date, the Garland Center and Parking Garage includes a new 30,000 SF University of Arkansas Bookstore and Razorback Shop and 20,000 SF of retail stores in a dramatic structure comprised of Terra5 terracotta baguettes, Terra5 BERSAL panels, Cem5 fibercement panels, exposed steel, and glass.  With over 30,000 SF of rainscreen cladding and another 20,000 SF of terracotta baguettes on this project, the Garland Center is one of the most exciting new rainscreen projects in the Southern United States.  Below are some additional photos of the installation.
