Swisspearl Zenor for Opus Newton
We are proud to highlight that Swisspearl Zenor panels will be the defining feature for the exterior facade of the upcoming 2Life Communities Opus Newton residence in Newton, MA.
Opus Newton is not just any building – it's set to be one of the largest Swisspearl projects in North America. This collaborative effort with the design team of Perkins&Will Boston, incorporates Swisspearl's high-quality architectural fiber cement panels for the primary exterior rainscreen cladding material - offering both aesthetic appeal and sustainable qualities to support the design goals of this innovative project.
Swisspearl Zenor is a large-format fiber cement panel with an opaque coating, providing a smooth and elegant finish. The selected color range not only offers cost-effective implementation but also ensures high-quality results from production to assembly. These panels provide all-round protection for the building envelope with simple elegance, making them an ideal choice for modern architectural projects. The Swisspearl fiber cement facade for this mixed-use residential complex boasts nine custom Zenor colors, phased fabrication, and sequential packaging.
The exterior of the Opus Newton project will feature a unique curvature at the facade, adding a distinctive touch to the building's design. The building envelope will adhere to Passive House Design principles, incorporating triple-glazed passive house windows for enhanced energy efficiency.
The incorporation of Swisspearl Zenor panels into the Opus Newton project not only showcases our commitment to providing economical and beautiful cladding solutions but also highlights the innovative features and sustainable practices integrated into the building's design.
We are excited to see how Swisspearl Zenor panels will contribute to the overall success of the Opus Newton project, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and functional capabilities. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
