National Medal of Honor Museum - Arlington, TX
Cladding Corp is honored to have Ceramic5 selected for the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, TX, designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects. This landmark project features a 130,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall, suspended 40 feet above ground by five massive concrete mega columns symbolizing the U.S. Armed Forces branches. Portions of the museum’s striking exterior, clad in Ceramic5’s Metallic Series (Corten GC21 & Indio Blue LY07), deliver a bold, durable finish that embodies strength and resilience while enhancing the building’s timeless architectural presence.
The Museum complex includes a sunken Rotunda of Honor as the public entrance and features a conical oculus that brings natural light into the space below. Surrounding facilities like the Leadership Institute, Theater, Education Center, and Great Hall are seamlessly integrated with green roofs and pedestrian pathways. The Ceramic5 feature cladding adds a contemporary touch to the building, honoring the enduring legacy of service.
