In addition to offering a variety of cladding products in various categories, Cladding Corp serves as a rainscreen systems provider for a variety of cladding panel products. 2009 was an especially successful year for our collaboration with Trespa North America with our engineered attachment systems for phenolic panels in the New York City market.
Located just outside of Columbus Circle at 462 West 58th Street, the Hudson Hill Condominiums represented one such collaboration. Developed by Alchemy Properties and designed by FX Fowle Architects, the exterior facade is clad in Trespa woodgrain phenolic panels and was installed using the F1.10 System from ALLFACE to form the basis of a concealed fixed attachment solution utilized specifically for concrete substrates. Installed by Cardrona Inc. of Maspeth, NY, the Hudson Hill Condos is one of many projects where Cladding Corp has been called upon to provide an engineered attachement solution for rainscreen cladding installation.

Given the Clinton District neighborhood's unique character, the design team of FX Fowle sought to create a faceted facade that would give a unique character to the condo units while still harmonizing with the adjacent townhouses and smaller apartment buildings. Cladding Corp was able to assist by providing an engineered attachment system that allowed for the varied panel sizes and running bond pattern with an efficient bracketed assembly that installed effortlessly with the concrete substrate.
